Notice Regarding summer school and Directed Reading

For all such students who have got NC and not meeting CGPA and SGPA criteria and the students who have debarred from End Semester Examination in theory subject on account of attendance short (50%) even in a single subject, A summer school and Directed Reading are being organized for such students which you have to register immediately.

The summer school would be having all the ingredients of a normal semester in the compressed semester such as internal assessment based on class test, assignment and quizzes (30%) / and End semester (70%). The summer school comprises of 21 hrs of teaching per subject. The results of the summer school would be available before the re – registration for next semester. The attendance in Summer School is compulsory for appearing in supplementary examinations. (75% attendance mandatory). The student have to pay Rs. 2000/- per subject and Rs. 1000/- per subject for summer school and supplementary examinations fees respectively.Directed Reading :- Directed Reading is applicable to Students who are debarred from appearing in End Semester Examinations on account of shortage of attendance and to whom the Summer School is not applicable i.e. PG students/ UG Students going for summer internship and the students in the graduating year. In such case the evaluation will be done on 100% weightage of Supplementary examination.The student have to pay Rs.1500/- per subject and Rs.1000/- per subject for Directed Reading and supplementary examination fees respectively.Last Date for submission of prescribed fees of Summer School and Directed Reading are 5th April’2014(only for ODD semester).
