Education Loans

UPES has a formal tie-up with two of India’s leading nationalized banks. State Bank of India and Oriental Bank of Commerce are there to facilitate students’ access to easy education loans. The Education loans provide coverage for expenses including program fees and hostel fees.

Industry Scholarships

Though maintained by the UGC and accredited by NAAC, UPES is not a recipient of grants or financial aid from any government body.However, UPES is unique in the respect that it has the unflinching support of the corporates, associations, societies and individual professionals in the Energy and Allied sectors.The industry provides UPES in multiple ways; from allowing access to their vast knowledge bases and valuable experience to field visits in otherwise inaccessible installations; from laboratory equipment, books and sports facilities to scholarships and endowments.

Doctoral Research Fellowships

UPES emphasizes research-based learning. To enable quality research, the University provides qualified and experienced mentors with top-of-the-line facilities and requisite environment. The University has a huge Learning Resource Centre, state-of-the-art Living Labs, extensive and high quality electronic databases, and most importantly, an attitude that is geared towards innovation and exploration

FINANCIAL AID

100% Scholarship on Tuition Fee (2014 -15)

Scholarship will be offered to students securing an aggregate of 85% marks in class 12th & 90% marks in PCM for B.Tech. (all streams) in CBSE or ICSE Examination Board. Such scholarship will be limited to 5% seats in each B.Tech. Program.Scholarships will be allotted after commencement of the classes in merit order to eligible candidates.Scholarship will be given on the basis of Acadmic Merit only.The details of the scholarships would be provided to the students in the student's bulletin given to the students at the time of registration. Award of Scholarships will be decided by the Scholarship Committee & its decision shall be final and binding. Continuation of Scholarship in the subsequent year will be as per the University policy.

25% Concession on Tuition fee

25% Concession on Tuition fee shall be provided only to Uttarakhand bonafide resident students on merit-cum-means basis to be decided by the University subject to fulfilling the following conditions: Students’ whose gross annual family income is not more than 2 lakhs.Students’ who possess valid ‘Sthai Niwas Praman Patra’ from Uttarakhand state.Should have passed class X & XII level schooling from Uttarakhand. However, this condition may be relaxed for wards of defense personnel subject to producing of posting certificate outside the state issued by competent authority.
